HingaSmart is built by K7 Group Ltd, a small Rwandan technology company started by one family with an outsized idea: that the tools capable of changing a farmer's season shouldn't have to be imported.

Faustin is the engineer behind HingaSmart's intelligence. He has spent a decade building software across Rwanda, the UK, Austria, Germany, Spain, and Canada, leading engineering teams and serving as a Chief Technology Officer. He holds a Master's degree in mathematics and applied computer science with a concentration in data science, and is currently completing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence.
Prince runs the company. He holds a BSc in International Business from St Mary's University, London, and his work begins where the engineering ends: product, design, partnerships, and operations. Reaching farmers at real scale takes cooperatives, institutions, and partnerships across the region. It also takes a company that is built to last and worthy of relying on. Prince is responsible for both.
They started HingaSmart because the gap between what agricultural science already knows and what reaches the average smallholder is enormous, and closing it is an engineering problem as much as an agricultural one.
